25 ans qu'on peint ensemble...
25 ans.
On peut dire qu'on s'est cherchés, qu'on a changé.
Version Alain : Ah on peut dire qu'on en a fait des merdes !
Version José : Oui, cela a été une longue maturation
Il y a 10 ans nous étions dans le noir : des silhouettes statiques noyées dans le toner d'imprimante.
Nous en avons des dizaines, des toiles principalement. Sur chassis ou collées sur bois.
Et ça prend de la place.
Alors un jour on en a pris une. On l'a repeinte. En couleur. En bâclant un peu.
Et l'idée de ré interpréter ces anciens travaux nous a plu.
Ensuite on a pensé les lâcher dans la nature.
Les Lost Painting, c'est ça :
On reprend un vieux tableau, on le refait, on l'accroche dans la rue.
On se fait un micro vernissage à deux. On filme. On s'en va.
Sans regret.
Sans rancune.
La première session d'abandons de Lost Painting a eu lieu le 1er juin 2009.

La deuxième a eu lieu de 13 août 2011.
Abandon des Lost Painting 7à 12.
La troisème session, édition spéciale pour les 100 ans de Paint it Blank a eu lieu à Lisbonne le 24 août 2012.

10 years ago we were in the dark: static silhouettes drowned in printer toner.

And it takes up space.
So one day we took one. We repainted it. In colour. A bit sloppy.
And we liked the idea of reinterpreting these old works.
Then we thought of letting them go into the wild.
Lost Painting, that's it:
We take an old painting, we redo it, we hang it in the street.
We do a micro varnishing for two. We're filming. We're going.
Without regret.
No hard feelings.
The first dropout session for Lost Painting took place on June 1, 2009.
